Salary:
To continue to improve knowledge and experience of accounts in accordance with company procedures and delegate basic tasks to more junior staff within the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce financial statements for trusts and companies in accordance with APD standards and procedures. Assist senior members of the department in producing more complex financial statements.
- Assist book-keeping section to ensure that book-keeping for clients is up-to-date for accounts preparation.
- Keep an up-to-date daily timesheet to be submitted for approval weekly.
- Keep the APD Manager and HR informed of all holidays/study leave and absences.
- Provide assistance to more junior staff.
SKILLS:
- Be studying for a relevant professional qualification, preferably the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (including the Accounting Technician Scheme (CAT).
- 2 – 4 years experience in Trust and Company financial statements preparation.
- Possess organisational/prioritisation skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills to allow for a good relationship with external and internal contacts.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- IT skills to a basic standard.
