Salary:
Responsible for the routine administration of a non-complex portfolio of clients and/or assisting a senior member of the team and to delegate basic tasks to more junior staff within the group.

- Undertake the day-to-day administration in accordance with the terms of the appointment including the maintenance of all relevant Trust/Company records for the cases held by the relationship team.
- Maintenance of statutory records in liaison with Company Secretarial department.
- Ongoing cash management in respect of portfolios of Trusts and Companies managed by the team, including monitoring of cash balances and overdrafts in accordance with the department policy.
- Ensure that all administration and client service issues are attended to in accordance with the department service standards and company procedures manual(s) in force at any given time.
- Attendance to correspondence and telephone contact with clients and/or their advisers on all matters in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review of ledgers on a daily basis to monitor Service Centre tasks.
- Ensure that accounts relating to his/her portfolio of trusts and companies are prepared in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with agreed requirements.
SKILLS
- Be studying for a relevant professional qualification, preferably as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators or Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Accounting Technicians, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
- Generally have 5 years experience in Trust and Company administration.
- Possess organisational/prioritisation skills.
- Possess good interpersonal skills to allow for a good relationship with clients and colleagues.
- As a result of study and experience possess a working knowledge of Trust Administration including the tax ramifications of various structures.
- Good understanding of Company Law(s).
- Ability to interpret and review a set of accounts.
