They are currently seeking an experienced In house Trust Counsel to be based in the Caribbean. The successful candidate will assume a key role in the Company and will report to the Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• establishment and administration of trusts
• liaison with local and international legal professionals
• client liaison and support
• represent the company as a primary contact with the clients and other corporate and trust participants as well as local legal counsel
• provide quality services to clients on a multi jurisdictional basis
• make key fiduciary decisions on a daily basis
• training and supervision of supporting staff in various aspects of trust law and administration
• be prepared to transfer to other locations within its worldwide network

SKILLS AND EXPEREIENCE:

• at least 2 years relevant experience in the field of trust law and administration
• experience in the setting up and administration of unit trusts
• working knowledge of trust laws and equitable principles as applied in a multi-jurisdictional context
• be familiar with international finance transactions
• excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
• strong interpersonal skills
