Trust Lawyer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Manage a portfolio of New Zealand and UK trusts for high net worth individuals and families
- Coordinating role for 'premium clients' in the private client sector through communication with various Citco offices to ensure proper follow up on client matters for Citco’s most important clients
- Joint responsibility of the Private Client team in Mauritius and co-managing a growing group of 5-10 staff across legal, accounting and support functions
- Act as liaison between the rep-office and operational offices and maintain and develop a good network of internationally
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Law degree and at least five years experience in a comparable position with a law or fiduciary services firm; exposure to tax driven structures is essential
- Strong analytical skills and a commercial, dynamic attitude
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Service driven and able to work in a team and autonomously
- Able to set priorities be flexible and highly accurate
